Legend to the contrary, the perfect little girl responding to the music is not Linn Ullmann, the daughter of Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullmann, but a young actress named Helene Friberg whom Bergman employed again in “Face to Face” and then chose to live a life out of the spotlight.
I’d forgotten how much I loved this movie!
So wonderful! This popped up on my YouTube feed the other day, and I had to watch it again. Would love to watch it on the big screen.
